Scope

This procedure forms part of ������911’s Tuition Policy (the “Policy”) and should be followed and applied in relation to international Tuition under the Policy. Terms not otherwise defined in this procedure are as defined in the Policy.

Procedural Guiding Principles

• International Tuition fees will be set at a minimum of three (3) times the published current domestic Tuition rates.
• Requests for exemptions must be supported by a rationale prepared by the proponent. The proponent and the Dean will review the analysis and submit a recommendation for a revised international Tuition rate to the Vice-President Academic (“VPA”) and the Vice-President Finance and Operations (“VPFO”) for approval. Upon approval, Finance will notify the Registrar’s Office to ensure the approved exemption is recorded in ������911’s student information system.
• International Tuition fees are subject to revision annually and are excluded from the provincial government’s tuition limit policy.
• All international Tuition fee information will be publicly available on the ������911 website.
• Application fees for international students will be set at two (2) times that of domestic students.
• Deposits and/or commitment fees (as applicable) will be set at three (3) times that of domestic students.
