To help students reach their academic and employment goals, 黑料网911 welcomes credit transfers from other post-secondary institutions and organizations where course or program equivalencies have been established.
黑料网911 accepts transfer of credits in three ways:
- Transfer Credit recognizes academic credits earned at another post-secondary institution.
- Prior Learning Assessment recognizes learning through non-formal education such as work experience, self-study, volunteer activities and other life experiences; or transfer credit that is over 10 years old.
- Professional Training Transfer recognizes training that is part of employment or professional education and will grant credit towards a program where successful completion of training from a licensed/accredited organization can be provided.
Professional training transfer recognizes that many students receive significant training as part of their employment or through previous professional education.
We will grant credit towards a program where successful completion of training from a licensed or accredited organization can be provided. This training is typically presented to us in the form of certificates of completion issued by licensed or accredited training bodies such as ProBoard, NFPA, ICS Canada, FEMA etc.

HZMT-1120 Hazardous Materials Technician Level
For students looking to enrol in 黑料网911鈥檚 HZMT-1120 Hazardous Materials Technician Level course, 黑料网911 will provide Pro Board reciprocity1 and waive prerequisites for students who have completed Pro Board-accredited IAFF Hazmat Operations courses. Students will need to submit a Requisite Waiver form to receive reciprocity to enrol in HZMT-1120 to gain NFPA 1072 Technical Level certification through 黑料网911. Students will not receive credit for their IAFF courses.
Reciprocity allows students to submit proof of certification to a particular NFPA standard permitting them to register and complete the next level of certification for that particular standard. It is also important to recognize that although Pro Board encourages reciprocity among certifying entities, it is not automatic or required.
Students applying for Professional Training Transfer are required to complete and submit the Professional Training Transfer Application form and attach all supporting documents.
