Mark Weintraub, ºÚÁÏÍø911 Board of Governors

Mark Weintraub, K.C. is a partner with Clark Wilson LLP where he serves as the firm’s senior estate and trust trial lawyer representing personal executors and trustees, trust companies, non-profit organizations and charities.

Mr. Weintraub is a prolific contributor to numerous wills and estates publications for the B.C. Law Society and the co-author of British Columbia Estate Litigation, 2nd Edition (2025). He was appointed as Queen’s Counsel (now King’s Counsel) in 2015 in recognition of his legal contributions.

His community work has included roles with the Multiculturalism Committee of the Law Society of British Columbia, Canadian Cancer Society, the Vancouver Holocaust Centre’s Board of Directors, and the Vancouver Office of the Chief Constable. He has served as a multi-faith community advisor with Omni 10 BC, and as a cultural diversity advisor for Global Television Network. As a former Chair of the Canadian Jewish Congress, Pacific Region, he presented at ºÚÁÏÍø911’s 2005 Symposium for Law Enforcement on Preventing and Responding to Hate Crime.

Mr. Weintraub holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts (History of Religion) from the University of British Columbia and a law degree from the University of Toronto.
