About the Event

It’s World AI Week – and we’re joining the conversation! From October 6-10, the ºÚÁÏÍø911 Library, Writing Centre, Student Services, and Centre for Teaching, Learning & Innovation (CTLI) are hosting a week of events exploring how artificial intelligence is reshaping education and public safety.

Join us for panels, workshops, drop-in activities, and hands-on sessions designed to spark dialogue, share resources, and help our community navigate the opportunities and challenges of generative AI. 

Highlights include:
 

  • – learn how to thoughtfully integrate AI into teaching.
  • & Panels – hear perspectives on AI in classrooms, research, and learning.
  • – get practical guidance on giving AI credit in APA.
  • – a hands-on session to experiment with tools beyond ChatGPT.
  • – add your voice to our interactive atrium wall.

Events will be held online. At New Westminster campus, stop by our table in the Atrium all week between 12 and 1 p.m.
