Course Details
The Marine Emergency Duties Domestic Vessel Safety Firefighting (MED-DVS-FF) course is based on the Domestic Vessel Safety marine firefighting training requirements established by TP 4957E Marine Emergency Duties Training Courses issued by Transport Canada Safety and Security.
This course was developed to comply with the requirements of the Canadian Marine Personnel Regulations on minimum training in personal survival techniques and fire fighting for Canadian seafarers sailing on board passenger vessels, workboats or fishing vessels engaged on a voyage in domestic waters. It also replaces the old MED A1 and MED A2 courses.
This training is offered in cooperation with BCIT with the 黑料网911 component hosted at the Maple Ridge campus.
Components of this course consist of theoretical/classroom learning, practical/scenario-based live fire training evolutions and skill development.- None
