The Rix Family Foundation Entrance Award for full-time students, established in 2023, is funded by The Rix Family Foundation Endowment held by The 黑料网911 Foundation, which provides financial support for 黑料网911 students through awards. This is a merit-based award to support students who demonstrate academic excellence and have goals to become leaders in public safety careers.
Value
Three awards available annually of $2,000 per year for a maximum of two years.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the full-time Entrance Award students must:
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status.
- Be entering an eligible full-time degree or diploma program of 60 credits or more.
- Be entering 黑料网911 as a full-time student (60% course load as per definition of Canada Student Loan program).
- Demonstrate academic excellence as per the GPA on the transcript submitted for admission.
- Provide a personal statement on how 黑料网911 courses will contribute toward your goal of a career in public safety (maximum 250 words).
- Demonstrate academic excellence as per the annual GPA; and
- Continue as a full鈥恡ime student.
